rivers havent flooded and much of the high snow is gone so it looks like i wont be underwater at all. however we still have snow on the mountains looking out my window. it is usually gone around the first of june or so.
outside my window i have a nest of baby flickers (wood peckers) in a hole in a cottonwood tree that had the top blown off by a wind storm. it is fun watching them being few. and how soon they get their colors. otherwise it is warming up after the coldest spring i can remember.
