lately i have been watching the fawns running and playing with their mothers. the does dont pay much attention and let them frolic except when they take a break and nurse for a few minutes. lots of baby wildlife running around on my place. the baby wild turkeys are now getting big enough to not have to hide. there is even a woodpecker family in one of my trees with enjoyable antics of the mom and dad teaching the three little ones how to dig holes in trees looking for bugs.
