Bigger Class Sizes ARE Better
If it means the worst teachers are the ones eliminated. Especially if the subject is math. If I was teaching an algebra class of 25 students and they forced me to take on the class down the hallway presently taught by a run of the mill teacher, there is no doubt in my mind that the average skill of the fifty students would go up, not down. The 25 students in my original class would suffer slightly but not nearly to the degree that the other 25 would improve.
